Playing Exchange22 is like being on a roller coaster. You will experience your share of highs and lows while playing the game. What makes it even more exciting and thrilling is that your earnings depends on the performance of the player. For instance, if a player performance improves, your chances of earning from the game increases, similarly, if a player performs poorly your earningsfrom the game decreases.

How to play fantasy Sports on Exchange22?

The format of the game is simple ⁠— all you need is basic knowledge in Sports and understanding of the players’ performances. The rules are quite easy and we have covered it in the detailed guide below.

Select a match from any upcoming tournament. There are number of tournaments played throughout the year like ODIs, Test series, and T20s, played at domestic and international level.

You can participate in multiple matches at any given time listed under Upcoming Tab on the app.

Trading mainly includes Buy/Sell and Multibagger.

A list of players will be given for a particular match with pre-approved base price (buy/sell price) based on the previous performance of the player.

For Buy/Sell Trade:

Create your own portfolio of players either by buying or selling the player(s) based on your knowledge.

You buy a player, when your analysis says that a particular player will score more points than the base price.

You sell a player, when your analysis says that a particular player will score less points than the base price.

For Multibagger Trade:

Select a player(s) from the list of players available under the ‘Multibagger’ section. From all the players listed, the player who will score highest points in the match will get return that will be displayed in the corresponding cell of that particular player.

There is no limit on the purchase of shares of a particular player(s).

Also, there shall be no reversal of the transaction once a player has been bought/sold/hold.

You can monitor your selected players under My Portfolio tab. Before the game begins your portfolio will be displayed under upcoming section, once the match begins you can check under live section and when game ends, you can check under result section.

Scoring points solely depends on the performance of the players on that particular day. You can refer to the Points Table to see the weightage and get a better idea of how the points will be calculated.

You can check your final earnings from your portfolio by visiting the result section’ in the app.

However, please note that profit/loss can never be more than double the share of the base price of the player(s).

In case if rain interrupts a match, you will get a refund, but only for incomplete “limited-over” matches (Visit FAQs for more clarity).

To withdraw your winnings, go to your account on Exchange22 and withdraw your cash directly into your bank account.

If a match is cancelled or abandoned, we refund any amount paid by the user. This will happen the moment we receive a confirmation that the match had been abandoned or cancelled.

Throughout the year, there are numerous domestic and international tournaments played across various formats, including ODIs, Test series, and T20s. You can choose to participate in any of these series as per your preference in the “Upcoming” section.

On the app, you can participate in several tournaments simultaneously. These tournaments can be found under the "Upcoming" tab on the app.

When trading in a serieswise, you have the option to buy or sell a player for the entire duration of the series

In the upcoming section, choose the series you want to trade in and select the players available from different teams along with their respective buying and selling prices. Then according to your analysis, trade the players you have selected for the entire series.

If a tournament involves more than two teams, you can still invest in players whose teams have yet to play their first match in the tournament.

There are no restrictions on the number of shares of a particular player or players that you can purchase.

Additionally, it is important to note that once a player has been bought or sold, the transaction cannot be reversed.

You can easily monitor your ongoing tournaments by navigating to the "My Portfolio" section on the app. Prior to the start of the series, your tournament will be displayed under the "Upcoming" section. Once the series begins, you can track it under the "Live" section. And after the series has concluded, you can check the results under the "Result" section.

Your points in a tournament are determined solely by the performance of the players in that particular series. Each match will be displayed separately under the tournament in your portfolio, allowing you to easily track your every match’s progress by referring to the points table.

The market feature of the app provides you with the opportunity to either create or accept deals made by other players. A deal can only be accepted by one player. Let's take a closer look at the concept of creating and accepting a deal

Creating a Deal:

If your analysis indicates that a particular player will score equal to or more than the Call points, you can choose the Call option. However, if your analysis suggests that the player will score less than the Put points, you can choose the Put option. Once you have made your selection, you can enter the Call/Put points and select the entry fees from a dropdown menu to create your deal.

Accepting a Deal:

You can also accept the Call/Put deals created by other users based on your own analysis of the player's performance.

To keep track of your trades, simply navigate to the "My Portfolio" section on the app. Prior to the start of a game, you can view any deals that you have created or accepted under the "Upcoming" tab. Once the game begins, you can monitor your active trades under the "Live" tab. And after the game has ended, you can review all of your trades under the "Result" tab.

To gain a better understanding of how the points are calculated, you can refer to the Points Table. Furthermore, the points are updated in real-time, and you can view the stats for individual players in a particular match by navigating to the "Live" tab and selecting "View Player Stats."
